This final selection of text provides insight into the rescue's operational constraints, mission, and how adoption fees are used.
Patience Requested: The rescue is foster home based, and the volunteers all have families, employment, and obligations. They ask for patience as their schedule is busy with pet care (cleaning, feeding, vet appointments) in addition to their own daily lives.
Follow-Up Policy: If a potential adopter has not received a response to an email or application after more than 48 hours (not counting weekends), they should send a follow-up.
Animals Served: The rescue helps dogs, cats, and livestock as room and funding allow.
Intake: They accept owner surrenders and offer a Spay Mom Program for surrendering litters of puppies, which is done through their partnering vet offices.
Primary Focus: They primarily focus on large and black dogs because these animals are often overlooked in shelter environments and need more assistance to find a home.
Adoption fees help cover various essential expenses, including:
Pet Care: Food, vet bills, wormer, flea/tick prevention, cleaners, and blankets.
Supplies: Printer ink, paper, envelopes, toys, and folders.
Social Media: They encourage people to join their Facebook page for more pictures, videos, and updates.
