Parent AUP

Hello Parents, I am sending you what is called an AUP. This is a list of rules that I am expecting your child to follow this year in my classroom. I think it is important for students to have a set of rules they follow inside the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom. I find it important because it helps the child learn what they are expected to do at all times. I personally also think it helps your child become more independent. If they learn what is expected of them, they will soon do what is expected of them without being asked. It is my suggestion that you try and implement an AUP in your household. I think the more structure your child has at home the better they will succeed when it comes to their education in my classroom. I will be attaching a template for you to follow to help you start your own AUP in your household. This will just be my suggestions on what I think might work the best in a home with a young child. You do not have to follow my template if you do not want to. You might think some of my suggestions will not work for your home!!
