Bio-Sketch

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the In Silico Modelling Group at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of Cyprus. Prior to this role, I served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Jimma University, Ethiopia. My research focuses on medical image analysis and Machine Learning.

My academic background includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia (2008), an M.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia (2010), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India (2016).
