Prior to this role, I served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Jimma University, Ethiopia. My research focuses on medical image analysis, particularly pathomics.

My academic background includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia (2008), an M.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia (2010), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India (2016).
