I am working at the rank of Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty, Jimma Institute of Technology (JiT), Jimma University. I work in multidisciplinary areas of image Processing, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, RF System Design and Machine learning.

I did my B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University, M.Tech degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Addis Ababa University and Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi, India, under the guidance of Prof. Basabi Bhaumik and Prof. Shouri Chatterjee. During the early stage of my career, I worked in INSA and Ethio Telecom.
