OUR MISSION

Our mission is to empower the community through resource building, and environmental advocacy, accelerating Kincardine transition towards living sustainably. We aim to foster a community where every action, big or small, contributes to preserving our environment for current and future generations. 

2026 GOALS

• Blue Communities: Encourage the Municipality of Kincardine to revise its event policy to ban the sale of bottled water and support the installation of a larger network of outdoor bottle-filling stations.

• Yard Naturalization: Support the community during the Municipality’s review of yard bylaws by sharing education on the harmful impacts of invasive plants and the environmental and climate benefits of native plants.

• Repair Café: Build local repair skills, promote wise use of resources, and reduce waste by keeping reusable items out of landfill.

• Community Partnerships: Strengthen collaborations with local organizations, schools, businesses, and municipal partners to advance shared environmental goals.

• Circular Economy: Promote a circular economy through expanded Blue Box recycling, Terracycle programs, and increased access to second-hand, reuse, and repair options within the community.
