Jeni is listening through all senses -- with the land, River Saskawhihiwine, and all that comprises the Living World of the place we call Blue Deer. She is creating a dance: as a collaborative celebration of what is possible in Kinship, and as a gift to Place.
The next step in co-generative dance-making is a Community Conversation, hosted at BDC. The event is part demonstration, part experiential wander, and part sharing/discovery. This is part two in a series of conversations, with a culminating interactive performance in late 2026.

Jeni is a transdisciplinary artist whose primary medium is dance, although current exhibitions also include poetry, photography, and collaborative sculpture. Exploring the impact of landscape on human consciousness, Jeni’s process includes community-based participation (human and beyond) as foundational in co-generating new work.
Her current projects turn intimately towards dissolution and emergence— in body, perception, culture, and environment. In this time of the sixth extinction, she celebrates what is possible when we allow the wisdom of the body and direct connection with nature to invigorate and enflesh new forms, amplifying well-being and dynamic interrelationship with all life.
Jeni is fiscally sponsored through The Field; all donations in support of the artist are tax deductible.
"I pin my hopes to quiet processes and small circles in which vital and transforming events take place."
