Director

Youngdeok Kim, Ph.D.

Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University since 2019. Prior to joining VCU, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management at Texas Tech University (2014 - 2019).

He was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the National Doctoral Scholar award from the American Kinesiology Association (2014), Paffenbarger-Blair research grant award from the American College of Sports Medicine Foundation (2015), Early-career Investigator research grant award from the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) in America (2015) . He was inducted as a Research Fellow in the SHAPE-America in 2018.
