Kim's Childcare

I have been a licensed childcare provider for over 26 years with a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). Kim's Child Care believes that all children should be treated equally. I provide a safe, loving and consistent environment. Providing this for children and their parents gives me great satisfaction. Children are our future, providing them with these things are not only helping them but everyone. I enjoy being with children. This gives me the opportunity to watch them grow and learn as we play together. In my childcare I recognize that parents are a child's first and most influential teachers. It is important for me to have open communication with families, so that we can work together to best meet every child's needs. In my childcare you will see children learning through their everyday play. I will be a role model to the children, as they learn about social skills, self-help and other daily living skills. I think it is of the utmost importance that when children exit my childcare, they have the ability to interact appropriately with adults and other children. They will also be able to meet their own basic needs (dressing themselves, hand washing, etc.). I recognize that it is important to be helpful members in our communities and my goal is that the children will take pride in being helpful. I provide many toys that provide learning and creativity, various art supplies, large indoor and outdoor play equipment.
