Graduate students (일반대학원 화학소재학과)
We are seeking highly motivated PhD and MS students with interests in molecular simulations, theoretical chemistry, and data-driven approaches to physical systems. Successful candidates should have a background in physical chemistry, materials science, physics, and/or data science.
Available research topics include, but are not limited to:
Polymer membranes for gas and ion separation
Chemical theories of electrolytes and electrochemical interfaces
AI and machine learning for physical systems (e.g., MLIP, diffusion generative models)
AI-based protocols for nonequilibrium systems (e.g., reinforcement learning)
Classical and quantum-mechanical density functional theory for complex systems
We especially encourage applications from self-motivated students who are eager to work at the interface of chemistry, physics, and AI.
Undergraduate interns
We welcome enthusiastic and self-motivated undergraduate interns from diverse academic backgrounds. This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students, including those outside PNU. Ideal candidates are interested in at least one of the following areas: molecular simulations, theoretical modeling, data analysis, and machine learning, as well as a strong interest in coding.
