I have a Master of Music in vocal performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor in Music Education from Texas Tech University. I have been teaching and performing in San Antonio for the past 30 years.  From the spring of 1999-2014, I taught voice in the Musical Theatre department at the Northeast School of the Arts. I also started a musical theatre program at The Advanced Learning Academy in SAISD and taught theatre there from July 2018 to December of 2020.  My students have performed professionally in television, film, summer stock, regional theatre, and Broadway. I have taught voice masterclasses on auditioning for the Las Casas Scholarship/Majestic Empire Foundation since its inception in 2008. I have performed professionally through the Actor's Equity Association in California, Pennsylvania and New York and am currently a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, The Somatic Voicework™ Teachers Association and the Texas Music Educators Association.
