Kimberly Killen is a Ph.D Candidate in political science at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Her research combines feminist political theory, critical race theory, and democratic theory. Using cases drawn from contemporary U.S. politics, her dissertation studies the creative political practices feminists use to get heard.
Her most recent work, "'Can You Hear Me Now?' Race, Motherhood and the Politics of Being Heard," was published in 2019 in Politics & Gender.
