My research studies how public policies shape housing markets, labor markets, and crime. In my job market paper, I analyze the effects of Inclusionary Zoning on housing supply, prices, and residential sorting using rich spatial data from Washington, D.C. I also examine how labor market regulations influence technology adoption in hospitals, and evaluate the impact of conditional early release programs on recidivism. Across these projects, I combine quasi-experimental methods with structural modeling to assess the distributional and welfare consequences of policy interventions.
I will be on the job market during the 2026-2027 academic year.
