Welcome!

For over 24 years, I have cultivated a deep appreciation for the importance of education, which has only been strengthened by my recent graduation. I bring a strong passion and unwavering dedication to this role, with a particular focus on three key areas: quality education, safety, and open communication.

First and foremost, I firmly believe that every child deserves high-quality education. This involves not only providing advanced programs to enhance student development but also meeting each student where they are at in their individual learning journey. Recognizing  that each student learns differently is essential, and we must ensure that we have the right personnel and resources in place to support our future generations effectively. 

Secondly, the safety of our schools is a paramount concern for everyone involved. It is crucial to prioritize the enhancement  of safety protocols, ensuring that both staff and students are well-prepared for any emergencies and equipped to manage unsafe situations. Learning cannot thrive in an environment that feels unsafe. As a school board member, I will be dedicated to providing teachers and staff with the necessary tools and support to foster a secure atmosphere and will hold individuals accountable when safety is compromised. I will advocate for strict adherence to our safety policies and the establishment of new ones that safeguard our community.   

Lastly, fostering a strong community through engagement and open communication is vital. We must actively listen to the concerns that are raised at the school board meetings and develop additional communication channels to keep everyone informed about issues and their resolutions. Communication is essential to building trust within our community. Schools in the Eden Prairie district should maintain consistent communication with parents and community members, ensuring that we function as a cohesive district rather than a disjointed entity. Additionally, I encourage the promotion of volunteer opportunities to strengthen our ties as a community.

With my background in learning and development, coupled with a commitment to taking on new opportunities and making a meaningful difference, I am driven to create an environment where every student can thrive. I humbly ask for your support in voting for me as your next school board member for Eden Prairie.
