The NBC letter to parents pretext Accusation was filed by CTC Executive Director Mary Vixie Sandy and prosecuted by the Office of then-California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris. It centers on a January 17, 2012 letter Kilroy sent to parents regarding student classroom disruption (the “NBC letter to parents”), which became the subject of an NBC news report and an 11-day LAUSD suspension, and was later used as the primary pretext for credential revocation.
Also included is the Uncontroverted 1st Declaration of Lorcan T. Kilroy (executed June 15, 2026) submitted to FBI Associate Deputy Director B. Chad Yarbrough and National Security Council Deputy National Security Advisor Robert Gabriel Jr. The Declaration addresses the NBC letter to parents pretext, alleged suppression of adult and juvenile witness statements in LAPD DR 12-09-11015 (the “Thomson Affair”), related LAUSD / LAPD / CTC / OAH administrative actions, claims attributed to a student "JC" in the revocation, and claims that the credential revocation was pretextual.
