KilnWeave Policy Page

1) Overview
KilnWeave helps you run chemistry calculations and keep a local log of results (“tickets”). This page explains how information is handled when you use the app.
2) Information We Collect
On-device entries: Calculation inputs and results you choose to save (tickets), plus your preference settings (for example: decimal precision, motion speed, haptics).
No account data: KilnWeave does not require sign-in and does not ask for your name, address, or phone number.
No precise location: KilnWeave does not request location permissions.
3) How We Use Information
Show calculation results and summaries.
Save and display your ticket history and preferences on your device.
Improve reliability by handling errors (for example, when loading the policy page).
4) Data Storage
Tickets and preferences are stored locally on your device.
You can delete individual tickets or clear your full log at any time from within the app.
5) Purchases (Tip Jar)
If you choose to make a tip purchase, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. KilnWeave does not receive your full payment details (such as your card number). Google may collect information as described in its own policies.
6) Third-Party Services
KilnWeave uses:
Google Play Billing for optional purchases.
In-app web content to display this policy page inside the app.
7) Web Content & Links
The Legal & Privacy screen may load a web page. If the page cannot be reached (for example, you are offline), the app will show an error state and allow you to retry.
8) Posting Policy
KilnWeave does not include public profiles, comment threads, or user-to-user posting. If you contact support by email, please do not send sensitive personal information. If we ever introduce user-submitted content features, we will publish clear guidelines and moderation rules before enabling them.
9) Children’s Privacy
KilnWeave is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support email, contact us and we will work to remove it.
10) Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information stored by the app on your device. No method of storage is 100% secure, and you are responsible for protecting access to your device.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
