As some of you have probably already noticed, our friend and frontman Hasy “Thin Lem”, the man who personifies Lemmy Kilmister like no other, has been having health problems for a long time.

Thanks to spontaneous efforts from friends, we were still able to play the last gigs.

Hasy has now decided that he wants to retire from the stage. You can find a statement from Hasy below.

JP and Steve now want to continue with KILMISTER even more because the legacy of Motörhead has to be carried on and it's just awesome to see Motörhead perform on stage! Since Hasy is unique, we will not be looking for a replacement for him.

With Joey Roxx on bass and Colin Hay on mic, we have found two new colleagues who are total Motörhead maniacs and will represent Hasy in their unique way.

Joey is successful with Mystic Prophecy and has already provided the low tones for Souldrinker, Shezoo and countless bands. Colin is the singer for Mud Slick and has blown us away with his performance and energy every time since the first Lemmy Bashes.

Hasy will occasionally stay with us on stage as a guest at KILMISTER and in due course we will play a farewell concert for and with Hasy.

All announced concerts will take place!

Statement from Hasy:

It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that I have separated from Kilmister for health reasons.

Anyone who has seen me in the media, at concerts or privately over the last 1 1/2 years will have noticed my physical deterioration. Since the gig in Hohenems my voice has also been lost and at the concerts at the Schüür in Lucerne and at the Atlantis in Basel I was only a shadow of myself.

I have dealt intensively with this topic over the last three weeks and have come to the end that my health and my recovery takes priority.

I am in consultation with my doctors and we are looking for the causes, finding solutions and gradually working on my recovery. This will need time. Above all, my distinctive Lemmy imitation voice has to be completely restored and that takes time, a lot of time. How long it will take overall is unclear.

So I decided to make a hard cut and leave the band.

Since too many gigs had to be canceled or postponed, Steve and JP now have the opportunity to keep the band and the spirit of Motörhead alive with other musicians.

14 years as Lemmy Impersonator with No Mercy and Kilmister are now coming to an end.

A total of 140 concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2011 will remain unforgettable and will forever shape my musical life.

Thanks to everyone involved and the people working in the background for their tireless support.

Thanks to all of you who pushed me to achieve top performance personally and at the concerts.

A huge thank you to my wife Ursi for her patience and understanding in my absences over the years.

What the future holds is unclear and open. The priorities have been set and the goal has been tackled.

I want to get back to the peak of 2019 in terms of health.
