What is the ELO Ranking system?

The ELO ranking system uses an algorithm to rank players based on the matches they play against other ranked players. It gives you a score based on your performance against other players.

How is it different from ITC or BCP?

ITC and BCP do not take into account the skill of other players when determining your Point total. You can smash a tournament of beginners, and ITC and BCP do not adjust the score based on that fact. With the ELO, your total rank will take into account the skill of the players you played against, thus being a better measure of your actual skill in comparison to the community. ITC and BCP will reward you for participation, where as the ELO will measure your skill, and only your skill.

How do I join the Kill Team ELO?

There is a link at the top of the page which says "Join ELO". Please enter your name and Discord name on the form and submit. You'll be added to the roster within 7 days.

What games are added to the ELO?

You are allowed to play up to 4 individual matches on Table Top Simulator a week. These matches should use one of the major tournament packets. A screen shot of the final scoreboard should be added to the "Ranked Results" channel of the Command Point Discord Server. We will also be including major online Kill Team events for the foreseeable future, hosted on the discords. In the future we are looking at adding live events when Covid-19 has subsided. But for now, until we can determine a method for recording live events, and it's safe for them to take place, we will be allowing only online play.
