B cell Activation and Tolerance (BAT)
B cell activation varies significantly in both magnitude and quality depending on multiple factors, including the surrounding microenvironment, antigen properties, and the host's genetic background. These factors collectively determine how effectively B cells mount appropriate immune responses. Nevertheless, the precise mechanisms that control this context-dependent regulation of B cell activation remain incompletely understood. Our research is focused on uncovering these underlying regulatory pathways, with the ultimate goal of translating these discoveries into innovative vaccine platforms and therapeutic strategies against immune-related disorders.
