My name is Jeremy Kight and I am currently teaching high school math at NMHS. The year before, I taught AP Calculus and Physics at Oakstone Academy. While my degree is in Chemical Engineering, I love mathematics. I especially enjoy seeing how math is used all around us. It seems recently, my wife's job has kept us moving but I have been extremely fortunate in being able to find work as a teacher. Not only do I get to share my love of mathematics, but I also get to try and have an impact on younger scholars.
The notes provided on this website is only intended to serve as a tool in helping you understand concepts in math or math related fields. You will notice that some of the notes do not go into a lot of detail. One reason for this is that while there is plenty of depth to dive into, there simply is not enough time. In my lesson plans, I try to divide the time in the classroom in a way that would be the most beneficial for the students. Thus, I would rather cut my lecture short and give more time for independent/collaborative work. Overall, these notes are primarily just for those of you that need to see a few more problems worked out!
