Teaching Philosophy
I strongly believe that any student can learn and am committed to helping all of my students do their best. I typically lead students through the Suzuki repertoire, providing supplemental technique exercises, extra pieces, and improvisation and music theory. However, I strive to adapt to each student's personality and goals.
I also want learning cello to be a whole lot of fun. I encourage students to attend recitals, group classes, orchestras, and chamber groups. I try to maintain as much communication as possible with students and their families.
