•  Arithmetic and Hyperbolic Geometry 

         - Generalized integral points and sections in fibrations over Riemann surfaces 

         - Uniformity related problems of integral points and sections on algebraic varieties  

• Geometry and Dynamics of Groups 

        - Asymptotic Group Theory (sofic groups, amenable groups, etc.)

        - Symbolic algebraic varieties (surjunctivity, Garden of Eden theorem, etc.)

- Generalized group shifts and group rings (Kaplansky's conjectures, shadowing property, etc.)

• Automata, Cellular automata, Complexity of infinite words 

• Computational social choice (Kemeny problem, ranking aggregation, voting theory, etc.) 

• Mixed Integer Programming and applications

• (Recently) Model theory and o-minimal theory
