At KIPS, every child has the opportunity to learn skills at their own pace. No two kids are exactly alike when it comes to acquiring knowledge and skills. Hence, we prefer and encourage each student to participate actively in our online activities. We also give a one on one tutoring to students who need extra or extensive help in one area or two. Otherwise, we encourage the parents and/ or guardians to participate in the online classes so that they too, will be capable of helping their kids in doing our online assignments and classwork.

Basically, we follow the Common Core Curriculum and we include Filipino as one of the subjects that we offer our students. Whilst Tagalog is used in teaching the Filipino subject, we encourage our students to listen, think, speak, and write in English which is a challenge to most of our non-native speakers/ learners. But we also encourage our students to continue learning and using their native language at home.

During the Curriculum Night we discuss more details on the curriculum that we follow, the grading system, the online resources that we will use, and the discipline in all areas that we will implement and follow.
