Welcome to KidZense. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting the privacy of our young users and complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR-K, and the Google Play Families Policy.
KidZense is specifically designed for children (including those under the age of 13).
We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses from children.
We do not require account creation or logins to use the app.
We prioritize on-device processing to ensure maximum privacy:
Handwriting Recognition (ML Kit): We use Google ML Kit Digital Ink Recognition to help children learn to write. All handwriting processing happens locally on your device. No stroke data or handwriting images are ever sent to our servers or third parties.
Microphone & Audio: The microphone permission is used only for interactive learning features (e.g., repeating alphabets). We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data. * App Performance: We collect non-identifiable technical data (device model, OS version, and crash logs) solely to maintain app stability and performance.
To maintain a safe environment for kids:
Google Play Certified Ad Networks: We only use Google Play Certified Ad Networks.
Non-Personalized Ads: We only serve non-personalized ads to all users.
Content Filtering: All ads are filtered to be appropriate for children (G-rated) and do not include behavioral tracking or remarketing.
Internet Access: Used to load educational content and serve child-safe advertisements.
Storage/Media: Used solely for rendering animations (like confetti) and app assets. We do not access your personal photos or files.
We never sell, rent, or trade user data. Because we do not collect personal information, there is no data to sell.
Parents have full control. Since we do not collect PII, there is no data for us to delete; however, if you have questions regarding our privacy practices, you may contact us immediately.
