Mission:
Provide children an inclusive environment to explore their inner lives cultivating compassion, strength, and resiliency
Vision:
We envision a world where all children feel a healthy connection to themelves, others, and the earth.
Purpose:
Connect to oneself - experience the art of self-awareness/self-reflection,
Connect to others - discover new perspectives and build healthy relationships
Connect to the world - appreciate interdependence, recognize common humanity , and participate in community and global engagement.
Curriculum:
Original curriculum developed by Mimi Hauenstein and Elaine Bonds
Students are exposed to the tools and skills to embody universal values including: mindfulness, gratitude, compassion, joy, peace and wonder.
Students engage in experiential learning activities such as: critical thinking, contemplative exercises, creative expression, cooperative learning, service learning, and exploring scientific perspectives.

Program:
15 week after school program
Meets at Aspen Elementary School
Offered to elementary age children with middle and high school volunteers
Tuition based with scholarships available
