KidSanook ("we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of children and families. This Privacy Policy explains how the KidSanook mobile application ("App") handles user information.

KidSanook is designed for children and families and follows applicable privacy regulations and platform policies.

1. Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on the Device

KidSanook stores certain information locally on the user’s device only.
This information is not transmitted to our servers.

Stored data may include:

• Player nickname (a self-chosen name, not a real name)

• In-app settings and preferences
  
  

• Coloring drawings created inside the App
  
  

The App does not require account registration or login.

Information We Do NOT Collect

KidSanook does not directly collect, store, or process the following personal data:

• Precise location (GPS)
  
  

• Photos or files from the device gallery

We do not operate our own backend server for collecting user data.

2. Microphone Usage

KidSanook requests access to the microphone only for the Voice Flashcard feature, which allows children to practice English pronunciation.

The App:

Speech recognition is handled by the device’s operating system services, such as:

• Android SpeechRecognizer
  
  

• iOS SFSpeechRecognizer
  
  

Audio processing is performed by the platform providers (Google or Apple) according to their own privacy policies.
The App receives only the converted text result from the speech recognition service.

3. Advertising

The free version of KidSanook displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

The App is configured for child-directed treatment, including:

• Non-personalized ads only
  
  

• Maximum ad content rating set to “G”
  
  

These settings disable:

• Behavioral advertising
  
  

• Interest-based ad targeting
  
  

While the App itself does not collect advertising identifiers, advertising services may automatically receive limited device information such as:

• Operating system version
  
  

• IP address
  
  

• Advertising identifier
  
  

Data handling by advertising providers is governed by their own privacy policies.

Users may remove all advertisements by purchasing KidSanook Premium.

4. In-App Purchases

KidSanook offers an optional one-time purchase called KidSanook Premium.

All purchases are processed through Google Play billing services.

We do not collect or store payment information.
All billing and payment processing is handled by Google.

To help prevent accidental purchases by children, the App includes a parental gate (for example, a long-press confirmation) before a purchase can be initiated.

5. Children’s Privacy

KidSanook is designed for children aged 8 years and under. .

The App follows the requirements of:

• Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

• Google Play Families Policy
  
  

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not sell or share children's personal data.

6. Third-Party Services

KidSanook uses limited third-party services necessary for the App’s functionality.

Google AdMob

Used to display advertisements in the free version of the App.
AdMob is configured in child-directed mode and serves non-personalized ads only.

Google Play Billing

Used for processing in-app purchases.

Speech Recognition Services

Voice Flashcard uses system speech recognition services provided by the device platform.

Examples include:

KidSanook does not include analytics SDKs, social media SDKs, or user tracking libraries.

7. Data Deletion

All application data is stored locally on the device.

Users may delete their data by:

• Deleting a player profile within the App

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

When updates occur, the Last Updated date will be revised.
Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

แอปจะ

ใช้สำหรับประมวลผลการซื้อภายในแอป

บริการรู้จำเสียงพูด

7. การลบข้อมูล

ผู้ใช้งานสามารถลบข้อมูลได้โดย

• ลบโปรไฟล์ผู้เล่นภายในแอป

8. การเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบาย

เราอาจปรับปรุงนโยบายความเป็นส่วนตัวนี้เป็นระยะ

เมื่อมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง วันที่ “อัปเดตล่าสุด” จะถูกปรับปรุง

การใช้งานแอปต่อไปหลังจากมีการปรับปรุง ถือว่าผู้ใช้งานยอมรับนโยบายฉบับใหม่
