This document contains everything you need to know about our program. Dates, costs, field trips, policies, expectations, and other registration information is all detailed here. Please review it before registering. By registering you are agreeing to abide by all of our policies.

All registrations must be submitted through our Rec1 System. If you are unable to register online, please contact us for assistance.
Pre-registration required. Registrations will close Friday at noon the week prior for each weekly session. Late registrations may use the waitlist option but are not guaranteed a spot.
Children must be between ages 5-14 as of 8/31 of the current year
Our program is open to all children including non-Mendon residents.
Afternoon snack and lunch is included each day except for some Wednesday field trip days TBD
Please inform us of any food allergies prior to attendance
Cost: $275/week; $60/day per child
Families that register multiple children will have a 5% discount for same-week registrations
There are several payment plans pre-loaded in the system. In general, a deposit of 20%-50% is due at registration with the remaining balance being due before the date of attendance. The system will charge your credit card automatically in accordance with the terms of the plan selected.
Changes/Swaps are only permitted with 14 days written notice. Any changes to registrations or cancellations are subject to the Parks Dept. refund policy (which can be viewed here: mendonma.gov/park-refund).
Payment in full will be required 1 week prior to the date of attendance. You do not need to pay in full for the entire summer - weekly payments are accepted. At registration you will be required to pay in full or select a payment plan. The system will charge your payment method on the dates as shown.
All payments should be made online through our registration system. In person payments are not accepted. Please contact us with any questions or for extenuating circumstances. Anyone unable to register online should contact the Parks Department for assistance.

Financial assistance is available for qualifying low-income families in the form of a 20% discount. Elligibility is based off of the same income guidelines as the school free/reduced lunch program. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
The Rec Program runs rain or shine. We have an indoor facility in the case of inclement weather. The program runs 8am-5pm and there will be no refunds for participants attending late or leaving early.
We are no longer offering make-up days. Swaps/Changes to registrations will be permitted up to 2 weeks prior to the date of attendance.
A 50% deposit is required to hold a registration spot. Any changes to registrations are subject to our general refund policy.
Changes/cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice will forfeit the 50% deposit along with any additional payment made towards 100% of the total due.
Requests for refunds in situations with extenuating medical circumstances will be handled in accordance with our refund policy and may be referred to the Parks Commission for review. Documentation may be requested.
