Everything you need to know to use Kids&Teen Rewards Points Tracker App effectively
For higher tiers like Platinum and Diamond, your child needs more roles (6 or 7+) and should score mostly A’s, with maybe one or two B’s, or just one C.
Tips to Help:
• Assign as many roles as possible.
• Use the Print feature in the Kid screen to print expectations, helping your child understand what’s required to succeed in each role.
• Use the Report feature to discuss monthly progress, including both positive and improvement notes.
During grading, review any notes from the period with your child to discuss ways they can improve
Each note is tied to a specific role.
Deleting a role also deletes its notes, as only active roles are tracked.
If a role isn’t visible:
Go to the main Kids screen, tap your child’s name, and check if the role is marked Active.
If it says Inactive, tap it to activate it. Only active roles appear in grading and notes.
Ensure you entered a short text and selected both the child and role.
To mark a note as a needs improvement note (displays in red):
Flip the Needs Improvement switch ON in the note screen. If left off (default), the note is marked as positive.
After entering a note, tap Add Note at the bottom of the screen. You should see a “Note added” message briefly confirming it’s saved.
Hi, I’m Edin, app developer, and also a father of three kids. I created this app to help myself and other parents teach kids important life skills in a fun, positive way without constant oversight. It’s a simple, effective rewards system based on clear roles and expectations—no micromanaging, just straightforward guidance to build great habits!
With a one-time setup, you define roles and rewards, print out expectations, and check in weekly to see your child’s progress. They learn responsibility, and you get a simple system to encourage and track growth.
