This privacy policy governs your use of the KiddoName mobile application created by the KiddoName software team.

Information We Collect

Our goal is to help you find the perfect name for your child while collecting as little data as possible. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personally identifiable information like your name, email address, or phone number to use our Application.

1. Automatically Collected Information (Anonymous Data)

The Application collects a limited amount of non-personally identifiable information automatically to ensure its functionality and to improve user experience. This includes:

• Anonymous User ID: When you first use the Application, an anonymous, randomly generated user ID is created by our backend service provider (Firebase). This ID is not linked to you personally but helps us manage your in-app coin balance and sync your purchases across devices.

• Device and Usage Information: We may collect basic, non-identifying technical information, such as your device’s operating system, crash logs, and anonymized usage data (e.g., which features are most popular). This helps us fix bugs and improve the Application.

• IP Address: Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address may be collected by our service providers for security and operational purposes, but we do not use it to identify you.

The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

2. Information You Provide (In-App Purchases)

When you make an in-app purchase (e.g., buying coins), the transaction is processed securely through the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information, such as credit card details. Our third-party service provider, RevenueCat, manages the purchase validation and links your purchase history to your App Store account to allow you to restore purchases on other devices.

How We Use Your Information

The anonymous information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• To Operate and Improve the Application: We use anonymous analytics to understand how our Application is used, identify bugs, and enhance features.

• To Provide AI-Powered Suggestions: Your filter preferences (e.g., gender, origin) are sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI) to generate name suggestions. This information is processed anonymously and is not linked to you.

• To Manage In-App Purchases: Your anonymous user ID and purchase history are used to manage your coin balance and allow for the cross-device syncing of your purchased items.

We will not contact you with marketing promotions, as we do not collect your contact information.

Third-Party Access to Information

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate our Application. These providers have their own privacy policies and have access to data only as necessary to perform their functions.

• Firebase (Google): Provides backend services, including anonymous authentication, database (Firestore) for coin management, and crash reporting.

• RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions, linking them to your App Store account for restoration purposes.

• OpenAI: Provides the AI technology for generating name suggestions based on the anonymous criteria you select.

We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.

Data Retention and Opt-Out

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process for your device.

We retain anonymous user data, including your coin balance linked to your anonymous ID, to allow you to restore your purchases if you reinstall the Application. If you wish to have your data permanently deleted, please contact us at mehmetkerimozek@gmail.com, and we will process your request in a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children. Our services are intended for parents and legal guardians. If you have reason to believe that a child has inadvertently provided data to us, please contact us so we can take the necessary steps to delete the information.

Security

We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards provided by our trusted service providers (like Google Firebase) to protect the information we process and maintain.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the Application or on our App Store page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
