The Youngest male Executive movie Producer in the world! Darius Brantley Jr. also known as Djay or DJ, a Detroit, Michigan Native Born Dec. 4th, 2012. Darius is an actor, artist, print model and officially an Executive Producer. He co created a movie entitled 'Obsession" directed by Dennis Reed II, distributed by Homestead Ent. and DR II Productions set to premiere Dec 2023. He was apart of the process throughout the project allowing him to truly earn his title as a producer.
Darius has been casted in several commercials, plays and movies. He's been featured in magazines, the face of seven different billboards around the City of Detroit, the city's website and various mailers. He has been a special guest on multiple podcasts.
He is apart of Mosaic Detroit's youth theater program. Where he continues to study preforming arts, including singing lessons. He completed modeling boot camp with the Taylor Lang Company in Eastpointe, Michigan. Darius studies acting with Dennis Reed Il Productions Oak Park. Actor's Site in Los Angeles (virtually) Young Actors of Atlanta (virtually) and studied the Chubbuck technique from accredited certified --Johnson's Artistic Heights Academy Acting School in Atlanta (virtually). Darius is signed to iGroup, Production Plus, Real Style, and Heyman talent agencies.
The youngest member to have served as youth ambassador on the board of directors for his local neighborhood association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. He participates in neighborhood clean ups and helps maintain the local community garden. Darius is a 2021 recipient of the Detroit City Council Spotlight Award. He's an honorary member of the Gathering Spot. Darius is member of the NAACP, Detroit Young Professionals and Metro Detroit Black Business Alliance. He plays football for his school, basketball for the league at the recreational center, enjoys swim, boxing and he studies martial arts at Jump Kick Studios. Darius completed DAPCEP, Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program, an educational 501(c) (3) organization providing high quality and standards-aligned science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programming to youth in metropolitan Detroit. He learned how to code video games through a paid social media influencer partnership with Code Verse.
