Kiddie AI ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting
the privacy of children and their families. This policy explains
how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Child's first name and age (for personalization, stored locally on device)
- Selected interests and preferences (stored locally on device)
- Chat messages typed or spoken by your child (sent to our AI
service to generate a response, not stored)
- Voice audio during voice chat (sent to our voice service to
generate a spoken response, not stored)
- Image generation prompts (sent to our AI service, not stored)
- Usage statistics (message counts, session duration, stored locally)
- Subscription status (managed by our payment provider)
2. How We Use Information
- To personalize the learning experience for each child
- To generate age-appropriate AI responses
- To create artwork based on child-safe prompts
- To track usage for parental oversight
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data for advertising
or any commercial purpose
3. Data Storage & Security
- Child profile data (name, age, interests) is stored locally
on your device only
- Chat messages and voice audio are transmitted to our AI services
solely to generate a response and are not retained after processing
- We use anonymous authentication — no email or password required
- All AI interactions are filtered through strict child-safety settings
4. Third-Party Services
This app uses the following third-party services to deliver its
core functionality. Each service receives only the data needed
for its specific purpose:
a) Google Gemini API — receives chat messages and image prompts
to generate AI responses. Data is processed per Google's API
Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
b) ElevenLabs — receives text to generate spoken voice responses.
Data is processed per ElevenLabs' Privacy Policy
(elevenlabs.io/privacy).
c) RevenueCat — manages subscription status. Only purchase tokens
are shared; no personal child data is transmitted.

d) Supabase — used for anonymous session management and usage
tracking. No personally identifiable information is stored.

All third-party services provide equivalent or greater privacy
protections for children's data.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13 beyond what is necessary to operate the app
- Parents must provide consent (via the in-app toggle during
onboarding) before any data is processed by AI services
- Parents can review, delete, or manage their child's data at
any time through the Parent Dashboard
- The app requires a parent-set PIN to access parental controls
6. AI Content Safety
- All AI responses are filtered through strict safety settings
- Content is blocked for harassment, hate speech, sexually
explicit material, and dangerous content
- Image generation uses child-safe prompts only
7. Data Deletion
Parents can delete all account data at any time through
Parent Dashboard > Delete Account. This removes all locally
stored data from the device.
