Context
This project is based around a dystopic future in 2050, it looks into what makes a place ,where work is so highly competitive that life becomes a dread, a stress free space using a bar as medium.
This also serves as a personal project to create beautiful spaces and to practice my model + rendering skills, creating detailed facades, furniture, appliances, fixtures and structures completely from scratch.
"free me from this madness.."
Ends Break
In a bleak and dystopic future where urbanization and technological dominance have overshadowed the remnants of nature, my uniquely designed bar (Ends Break) emerges as a rare sanctuary. This establishment is a haven where the last vestiges of the natural world have been carefully integrated, creating an oasis amidst the concrete jungle.
The bar is a refuge from the oppressive atmosphere of the outside world. Entering through its doors, visitors are immediately greeted by a serene ambiance, enhanced by the soothing sounds of water features and the subtle rustle of carefully curated greenery.
The juxtaposition of the artificial and natural elements in the bar is intentional, symbolizing a defiance against the relentless encroachment of an industrialized society. Patrons find solace in the harmonious blend of technology and the remnants of nature, creating an environment where they can momentarily escape the stress and worries that define their daily lives.
Soft, ambient lighting enhances the calming atmosphere, and the bar's architecture encourages both communal and solitary experiences. Visitors can choose to engage in quiet reflection or share conversations in secluded corners, fostering a sense of community among those seeking refuge.
As a visionary space, this bar not only serves as a physical escape but also inspires a collective yearning for a balance between progress and the preservation of the natural world. It stands as a testament to the enduring human need for connection with nature, even in the darkest of times.
