Hi, I am Khudadad Azara.

Welcome to my online home. I am a recent PhD graduate from Binghamton University. Most of the time, I do research in earth history and evolution. Last year, I published a paper, titled "A Middle Devonian vernal pool ecosystem provides a snapshot of the earliest forests" in PLOS ONE. Currently, I am working to publish my 2nd and 3rd papers (More details in the research section of this page).

I have taught Geology at college level, and also biology and chemistry to high school students. I belong to a family of educators. My wife serves a principal at Tameer-e-Nasl-Nau High school, and my brother established K.B Science college, and K.B High school. Education is one of main topic of our family conversations.

I am a firm believer in social progress, and write on social issues and topics of personal musings in my blog (Khudadad's knols), and also make talk on education, science, social issue (in Hazaragi) on my YouTube Channel (Khudadad Azara Vlog). Hazaragi has been considered a dialect of Persian and has been ignored. Like many native languages, the Hazaragi is in danger of going extinct and with it a long tradition, rich and diverse culture, oral history, a unique human experience and native knowledge. Like many other young Hazaras, I also write in Hazaragi and make videos in Hazaragi to enrich the language and develop a formal written and spoken tradition for language and save it from extinction.

How I got into a Paleobiology research?

(Under construction).
