Student Tasks:
- Play around with the FTC Simulator to get ideas on gameplay
- Review the page for your role in the dropdown on upper right of page
- Complete a KHS Robotics Application for 2018
- Attend practices on Monday & Wednesday nights from 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Parent Tasks:
- Expect to be added to a Groupme Group Chat to make it easier for communication between coaches and yourselves.
- Consider volunteering to come to practices either Monday or Wednesday evenings to ease the load on the coaches and help out with making the teams run.
- Help the coaches by signing your student into the FIRST System and accepting the Consent & Release forms.
- Follow this example doc to sign your student up for the Team via the FIRST Online System.

Each Team will attend 2 Meets and 1 Qualifier
Each Team will attend 2 Meets and 1 Qualifier
- Meets are half of the full Qualifier event, 12 Teams Attend each Meet. Expect a Meet to last half of a day. Both of ours are set to straddle lunch. The combined scores from both Meets will determine ranking in our Conference. Below are the two we will attend this year.
- The Qualifier is a Full Event with Judging and Game Play with 36 Teams Attending. Expect the Qualifier to last an entire day from 8am - 5pm. Top Teams may advance directly to State, skipping the Conference Qualifier.
- CANCELED Due to WEATHER: January 19th from 7:30am - 7pm: Rockwood Robotics Qualifier
This is the dividing line between the Normal Season, and the Post-Season Events. The below event rosters will be updated dynamically over the course of the year after each meet and Qualifier with Teams that are advancing based on performance.
- Eastern Conference Qualifier, top 36 Teams in our Conference not already advancing to State attending with rank based on performance from Meets
- State Championship (48 Teams Attending)
