DE Steps to Apply

The student should take the lead on these task with only aid from parents/guardians. Parents should not apply for their students, but are encouraged to be a part of the process with their student.

As detailed above, the process is multiple steps and requires tasks at both the high school and college.  For high school - we require 3 total documents - Local School Agreement, DE Advisement Form (completed with a Kell Counselor), and a PDF of your detailed schedule.  You can find more about these documents HERE.  Without these documents, your funding for Dual Enrollment will not be approved.

At the college level, you still need to apply, which may include test scores and/or a transcript.  Once accepted, you'll also participate in orientation and an advisement session with your college.

You also have a step to complete on your own through gafutures.org.
