K Howell ..... The Artist 

I am Kay Howell, an artist inspired by the vibrant possibilities of color and creative expression. Specializing in acrylic painting, I craft pieces that reflect a balance of hues and forms, blending colors with an intuitive harmony that shines through both structured and free-flowing compositions. My passion for subtle transitions and layering brings depth to my work, evoking emotions that range from jubilant and energized to peaceful and contemplative.

With a variety of tools at hand, from fine detail brushes to bold palette knives, I’m always exploring new textures and techniques to bring my vision to life. Born in Albuquerque, raised in Oklahoma City, and now based near Grand Lake, I draw from my experiences to fuel my artistic journey. In addition to creating art, I teach mixed medium art classes, sharing my love for creativity and helping others discover their own artistic voices.
