If you want a focused, single-side replacement for your Ford Explorer that restores clarity to one corner of your vehicle, choose KhokmGeu Headlight Left Clear; if you need a complete, dual-unit solution with included bulbs and hardware designed to boost nighttime visibility for mountain driving, choose dralux Headlight Left Right.
• KhokmGeu Headlight Left Clear: Its biggest strength is its precision fitment for the 2016–2018 Ford Explorer, offering a direct replacement path when only the left side has failed. The trade-off is that it is a single-unit purchase that does not include bulbs or hardware, requiring you to source those separately if your old ones are damaged. This pick is for the owner of a Ford Explorer who needs to fix just one side without paying for a full set.
• dralux Headlight Left Right: Its biggest strength is the completeness of the package, delivering two clear lens units with bulbs and all necessary hardware in one box for easy DIY installation. The trade-off is that this is exclusively for the Hyundai Elantra (2014–2016), making it useless for any other make or model. This pick is for the driver who wants a turnkey solution to upgrade both sides of their Hyundai simultaneously.
This product is designed specifically for the Ford Explorer owner operating between the 2016 and 2018 model years who finds themselves dealing with a compromised lighting system on the driver's or passenger's side. The core function here is restoration; the unit is engineered to bring back a clear lighting signal, ensuring your vehicle communicates its actions clearly during ordinary road use. If you have cracked glass, fogging, or a broken housing on just one side, this clear lens unit provides the focused replacement path you need to get back to normal operation.
The design philosophy behind the KhokmGeu headlight is simplicity and direct compatibility. It comes as a single clear lens unit count of one, meaning you are buying exactly what fits into that specific corner of your vehicle body. The lamp structure supports the intended light output while keeping the assembly organized within the vehicle frame. It does not promise to add unrelated lighting functions or change the aesthetic beyond restoring the original factory look. If your goal is simply to replace a damaged component without overhauling the entire front end, this is the logical choice.
You should buy this if you own a 2016, 2017, or 2018 Ford Explorer and only one headlight assembly is failing. It is also ideal if you prefer to keep your existing bulbs and wiring harness intact, using this part solely as the housing and lens replacement. However, you should skip this if you need a pair of headlights, if your vehicle is not an Explorer from those specific years, or if you require a kit that includes new bulbs and mounting hardware. This part solves a specific problem: a single failed unit. It does not solve the problem of needing a full front-end lighting overhaul.

The dralux Headlight Left Right is built for the Hyundai Elantra driver from the 2014 to 2016 era who wants to tackle both sides of the vehicle at once. Unlike single-unit replacements, this is a complete parts package that includes everything needed to swap out worn-out units. The design explicitly addresses the convenience of the installer by providing a ready-to-connect setup. You get two clear lens units, which means you can replace the entire front lighting profile in a single go rather than waiting for parts to arrive later or worrying about mismatched aging.
Durability and brightness are central to this product's value proposition. Constructed from high-grade plastic and reinforced steel components, the housing is weather-shielded to withstand the rigors of daily driving, including thousands of open/close cycles if applicable to the design, though primarily it focuses on structural integrity against the elements. The key functional benefit is the significant brightness improvement over worn-out units. By meeting strict factory specifications for beam pattern and intensity, it directly enhances nighttime visibility and driving security. This is critical for anyone who drives frequently after dark or in areas where street lighting is poor.
You should buy this if you drive a 2014, 2015, or 2016 Hyundai Elantra and feel that your current headlights are dim, cloudy, or physically damaged. It is the perfect choice for the DIY enthusiast who wants to save on costly shop operations by doing the job themselves in under an hour. The inclusion of two bulbs and all necessary hardware makes this a true "grab-and-go" solution. However, you must skip this product if you do not own a compatible Hyundai Elantra, as the fitment data is strictly tied to those three model years. If you need to replace just one side or prefer to keep your original bulbs, this might be more than you need, but for a comprehensive upgrade, it is the superior option.
• Best for Vehicle Compatibility → KhokmGeu Headlight Left Clear wins if you drive a Ford Explorer (2016-2018); dralux Headlight Left Right wins if you drive a Hyundai Elantra (2014-2016). These products are not interchangeable due to distinct mount points and electrical interfaces.
• Best for Complete Installation → dralux Headlight Left Right is the clear winner here because it includes two bulbs and all necessary hardware, whereas the KhokmGeu unit is a bare lens/housing replacement.
• Best for Single-Side Repair → KhokmGeu Headlight Left Clear is the smarter financial and logistical choice if only one side of your Ford Explorer is damaged, allowing you to avoid buying unnecessary parts for the good side.
• Best for Nighttime Visibility → dralux Headlight Left Right targets brightness improvement and strict factory beam patterns, making it slightly better suited for drivers prioritizing safety and illumination intensity.
• Best for DIY Simplicity → dralux Headlight Left Right offers a ready-to-connect design that promises installation in under an hour, reducing the complexity compared to sourcing separate bulbs for a single-unit swap.
• Best for Structural Durability → dralux Headlight Left Right highlights reinforced steel components and high-grade plastic for a weather-shielded housing, suggesting a robust build for long-term resilience.
• Best for Specific Model Fit → Both utilize VioFitment data for exact compatibility, but KhokmGeu is strictly for the Ford Explorer while dralux is strictly for the Hyundai Elantra.
• Best for Budget-Conscious Single Fixes → KhokmGeu Headlight Left Clear allows you to spend only on the part that actually needs replacing, avoiding the cost of a second bulb or housing you don't need yet.
When I look at the specs and the intended use cases, my recommendation depends entirely on the vehicle you drive and how much work you want to do yourself. For mountain driving, where visibility is non-negotiable and conditions can change rapidly, having a full set of bright, fresh lights is usually the safer bet. That said, if you own a Ford Explorer and only one side is blown, there is no reason to buy a whole set. But if you drive a Hyundai Elantra and want to maximize your night vision with a complete, hardware-inclusive kit, the dralux option is the one I would choose. It covers both bases—brightness and ease of install—which is crucial when you are far from home on a winding mountain road. In my opinion, the dralux Headlight Left Right offers the most complete solution for safety-conscious drivers looking to restore their vehicle's performance in one go.
