Summary: Khmer PDF Scanner processes all documents entirely on your device. We do not collect, upload, or share your document content. The only external services contacted are Apple or Google for in-app purchase verification.

2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share:
The content of any document, scan, image, or PDF you create or import
Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
Device identifiers, analytics, or crash reports
Location data
3. On-Device Processing
All scanning, OCR (text recognition), background removal, watermarking, compression, and PDF export happen entirely on your device using on-device machine learning models and local storage. Your documents never leave your device as part of the App's core features.
4. Device Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
Camera — used solely to scan physical documents. Camera captures are processed locally and are never uploaded.
Photo Library — used to let you import photos or images you choose. Only files you explicitly select are accessed.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device Settings.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time Lifetime Pro upgrade processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not handle or store your payment information. Purchase verification is managed by the respective platform. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy) or Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) for details on how they handle payment data.
6. Local Storage
Documents, scans, stamps, and signatures you create are saved in the App's private storage on your device. This data is not accessible to other apps and is deleted when you uninstall the App or manually delete documents within the App.
7. Third-Party SDKs
The App uses the following third-party libraries, all of which operate locally:
ONNX Runtime — for on-device background removal (no network calls)
Tesseract OCR — for on-device text recognition (no network calls)
Flutter printing — to send documents to your local printer or share via standard OS share sheet
None of these libraries transmit your document data externally.
8. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we collect no personal data from any user, there is no special handling required.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
