After first chapter, the students will be able to:

• properly use descriptive adjectives in Khmer

• describe and compare different cities using different forms of comparison and descriptive adjectives.

Asynchronous online class instruction:

1. Writing:

• Choose 5 adjectives from the table 1 below that describe your city.

• then write 5 statements in Khmer about your city using adjectives you have chosen. 

For example: ទីក្រុងរបស់ខ្ញុំអ៊ូអរ។​ (my city is crowed.)

• Write another 5 statements in Khmer comparing your city with your friend’s city. Please use different following comparison forms, if possible: 

***Grammar point: 

Comparison forms: ដូច (as...as) ជាង(more/../...er than) and ជាងគេ ...est/the most)

1. ទីក្រុងខ្ញុំធំដូចទីក្រុងពួកម៉ាកខ្ញុំ។

2. ទីក្រុងខ្ញុំស្អាតជាងទីក្រុងពួកម៉ាកខ្ញុំ។

3. ទីក្រុងខ្ញុំធំជាងគេបំផុត។

2. Reading:
