I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I graduated from Military Institute of Science & Technology (MIST) with a Bachelor Degree in Petroleum and Mining Engineering (PME) in January, 2020. The coursework provided a rigorous knowledge on reservoir engineering, drilling and completion, production engineering, numerical analysis, solid mechanics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. During my undergraduate thesis, my research focus was on computational fluid dynamics and multiphase flow of drilling mud mixed with drill cuttings. I performed as Department Captain of the Department of PME, MIST holding the responsibility to represent the student body of the department for 4 long years.
Apart from studying, I was the President of MIST Literature and Cultural Club (MISTLCC) where I arranged a national literature and cultural competition 'AUNKUR 2019' along with several On-campus events. I worked as a co-editor of the magazine 'ONKAR' associated with MISTLCC where literature enthusiasts sent their artistic writings for publication. I was also an active member of MIST Robotics Club (MRC). I worked with MIST Robotics Club on its signature robotics event 'ROBOLUTION' for several times. I had got the opportunity to participate in many national and international competition like DU Geo-Exposure 2019, HULT PRIZE 2018, ROBOLUTION 2018 etc. During HULT PRIZE 2018, I along with my team LAISTER worked together on a project focusing on the sustainability of biogas digesters to facilitate the low earning families and reducing the waste management issues.
Currently, I am working as a Lecturer of Military Institute of Science and Technology in the Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering since February, 2020. There I conduct several courses: Thermodynamics, Natural gas processing and LNG technology, Reservoir rock and fluid properties, Drilling mud laboratory, Computation laboratory, Natural gas transmission and distribution laboratory etc. I facilitate interactive sessions, assess students, promote joyful learning and developing the students as next generation leaders.
