2. Information We Collect

Personal Information: We collect your phone number for authentication via Firebase Phone Auth. Your Name, Profile Photo, and Phone Number are stored to create your profile.

Direct Messaging (P2P Chat): When you use the Direct Chat feature, your Name, Profile Photo, and Phone Number are visible to the specific user you are chatting with.

Multi-Media Data: We collect and store images, videos, and voice recordings that you voluntarily upload to 'Kisan Chaupal' or share in Direct Chats.

Camera & Gallery: We access your camera and gallery via the Android Photo Picker to allow you to share media for disease detection and community posts.

Location: We collect your location data (with permission) to provide local Mandi rates and weather updates.

Microphone: We access your microphone for Voice Assistant commands and voice messaging.
•
Advertising ID: We collect the Android Advertising ID to provide personalized advertisements through Google AdMob.
3. How We Use Your Information

To provide agricultural services (AI Disease detection, Mandi rates, Weather).

To enable secure farmer-to-farmer networking.
•
To show relevant advertisements to support our free services.

To send real-time push notifications for expert advice and chat messages.
4. Child Safety and CSAE Policy KhetiBuddy has a zero-tolerance policy towards Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Sharing illegal or harmful content will result in an immediate permanent ban and reporting to legal authorities (NCMEC).
5. Third-Party Services We use Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage) for core operations, Google AdMob for advertisements, and Google Gemini AI for expert analysis. Their use of data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention & Account Deletion We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (chats, media, profile) at any time via the "Delete Account" button in the Profile section. Data is purged within 30 days of deletion.
