Welcome to Kohei's page
I am a Galactic Archaeologist
Name: Kohei Hayashi (林 航平)
Affiliation: Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR), The University of Tokyo
Current status: JSPS research fellow
My complete CV (PDF ver.) is available here.
My primary research goals are to reveal the nature of dark matter in our Local Group and to understand formation and dynamical evolution of Milky Way, M31 and their satellites by using theoretical and observational studies.
- Constraints on dark halo structures in dwarf spheroidal galaxies
- Unveiling mass assembly history of the Galactic dark and stellar halo
- Chemo-dynamical evolution of the Galactic dwarf galaxies using high-resolution simulations
- Survey design for Prime Focus Spectrograph attached on Subaru telescope
