This app ("Khatabook", "we", "our") is a personal ledger/khata management
app that helps you track transactions with your customers.
Information We Collect
- Customer names and phone numbers you manually enter
- Transaction records (amounts, dates, notes) you manually enter
- Photos you optionally attach to transactions (e.g. bill/receipt images)
How We Store Your Data
All data you enter is stored locally on your device only. We do not
upload, transmit, or store your data on any external server. We do not
have access to your data.
Permissions We Use
- Storage/Photos: to let you attach receipt images to transactions
- Contacts (optional): to let you pick a customer from your phone contacts
- Biometric/PIN: to let you lock the app, if you enable this feature
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. Any
export (PDF/CSV) or backup file you create is stored locally and only
shared if you choose to share it yourself (e.g. via WhatsApp, email).
Data Deletion
You can delete any customer or transaction within the app at any time.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly
collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on
this page with an updated revision date.
