KharchMate – The Daily Expense Tracker ("KharchMate", "we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how KharchMate handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

KharchMate does not require you to create an account or sign in.

KharchMate does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or other personal identification information.

Expense information that you enter into KharchMate, such as expense amounts, categories, dates, and notes, is stored locally on your device.

KharchMate does not currently upload your expense information to our servers or cloud storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

The expense information stored in the app is used only to provide the app's expense-tracking functionality, such as recording expenses, displaying expense history, organizing expenses by category, and providing spending summaries or statistics.

3. Data Sharing

KharchMate does not sell, rent, or share your locally stored expense information with third parties.

Because your expense information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers, we do not have access to that expense information.

4. Google Play Billing

KharchMate may offer premium features through Google Play's billing system.

Payments for premium features are processed by Google Play. KharchMate does not collect or store your credit card number, bank account information, or other payment credentials.

Google Play may process payment and purchase information according to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

5. Advertising

The current version of KharchMate does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising purposes and does not currently include advertising.

If advertising or third-party advertising services are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as necessary to explain the relevant data practices.

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

The current version of KharchMate does not intentionally use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services to collect information from users.

If such services are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the information collected and how it is used.

7. Data Security

Because expense information is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including using appropriate device security measures such as a screen lock.

We do not maintain a cloud copy of your expense information.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your locally stored expense information remains on your device until you delete it through the app, clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove the information from your device.

Because we do not maintain a server-side copy of your expense information, we cannot delete information that is stored only on your device.

9. Children's Privacy

KharchMate is a general-purpose expense tracking application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when KharchMate's features or data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
