The App scans files stored on your device only to detect and remove duplicate files. This file scanning is performed locally on your device.
However, the App uses third-party services, including Google AdMob and Firebase, which may collect certain app, device, advertising, analytics, and crash-related information as described below.
2. FILE AND DOCUMENT ACCESS
The App may access images, videos, audio files, documents, and other files stored on your device for the following purposes:
- Scanning your device for duplicate files
- Showing duplicate file results
- Helping you delete selected duplicate files
- Showing storage usage and file categories
- Saving scan history locally on your device
File contents are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers.
The App may access file information such as file names, file paths, file sizes, file types, and duplicate groups. This information is used only for duplicate detection and app functionality.
3. PERMISSIONS USED
The App may request the following permissions:
READ/WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE AND MEDIA FILES:
Used to scan images, videos, audio files, documents, and other files for duplicates. No file content is uploaded or shared with us.
MANAGE EXTERNAL STORAGE:
On Android 11 and above, this permission may be required to scan and delete duplicate files across storage directories. This permission is used only for duplicate file detection, storage analysis, and deletion features.
READ MEDIA IMAGES, VIDEO, AND AUDIO:
Used on newer Android versions to access media files for duplicate detection.
INTERNET:
Used to display advertisements through Google AdMob and to support Firebase services such as analytics and crash reporting.
ADVERTISING ID:
Used by Google AdMob and Firebase for advertising, analytics, ad performance measurement, and fraud prevention where applicable.
4. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
The App may store scan history and scan results in a local database on your device.
This local data may include:
- File names
- File paths
- File sizes
- File types
- Duplicate groups
- Scan dates
- Storage analysis results
This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. It is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data from your device settings.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App uses third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
GOOGLE ADMOB
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process information such as:
- Advertising ID
- Device information
- App interactions with ads
- Approximate location based on IP address
- Ad performance data

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13.

File scanning and duplicate detection are performed locally on your device.
We do not operate servers that store your files or scan results. We use reasonable measures to protect the information handled by the App and rely on trusted third-party providers such as Google for ads, analytics, and crash reporting.

You can control app permissions from your device settings.
You can clear locally stored app data from Android settings.
