Government School Headmistress and her Principal are very supportive and provided the required resources and enthusiastic support possible from the School perspective.

Khan Academy has provided extensive math learning material in Hindi that will be used in this school. Videos for learning as well as the practice material and all the tracking from the Teachers' dashboard will be used.

Ten computers from ApniPathshala, Mumbai had arrived at the school on the 20th January.

Students were very excited to unbox them and get the screens, CPUs, keyboards, headphones, webcam boxes out.

With a great help from some of the GUPS team members, they were all installed on that day itself. There were few power points’ issue which was resolved by the next day on 21st Jan. All ten computers were available to be used from the 22nd.

GUPS team members have done good work from that day onwards to have students use Khan Academy on these Computers.

Today I counted the number of students who have logged in and used Khan Academy. And this count is Eighty students!!

It is incredible to see all these students, almost all of whom had never touched mouse or keyboard, logging in to Khan Academy and using it often to learn Math.

Update from January 11, 2026
Apni Pathshala has approved the dispatch of the ten free computers on lease to the school. (ETA Jan 17-18, 2026).

Electricity lines in entire school are being fixed right now.

Desks and chairs have arrived.
Internet connection is working.
Students, around 20 or so, have got brief exposure to working with mouse, keyboard and solving problems (2 to 4) on khan academy website. All this has been done on a shared laptop.
