I am a Professor of Computer Science at Université Paris Dauphine – PSL and a member of the LAMSADE research laboratory. My research focuses on data preparation, including data integration, data quality, scientific workflows, data provenance, and knowledge graphs, with applications in life sciences, biomedicine, and biodiversity.
Data integration and data preparation
Scientific workflows and computational reproducibility
Data provenance and lineage
Knowledge graphs and semantic technologies
FAIR data and FAIR computational workflows
A significant part of my current research focuses on the management of provenance in scientific workflows and machine learning pipelines, and on the maintenance and management of knowledge graphs.

Member of the Doctoral School SDOSE council
Member of the steering committee of the CNRS GDR MaDICS
Co-lead of the IEEE GRSS Working Group on Databases and Big Data
I am actively looking for motivated Master’s and prospective PhD students interested in exploring the interplay between Artificial Intelligence and Data Management, including topics at the intersection of:
data quality and profiling for AI pipelines,
data management foundations for machine learning systems,
provenance, transparency, and reproducibility of AI-driven data workflows,
knowledge graphs and learning-based methods for data preparation.
Interested students are encouraged to contact me to discuss potential research directions.
