Biographical Statement: My name is Khalid Farhan, and I am currently a PhD student in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), under the supervision of Prof. Jingling Xue, with joint supervision from Dr. Yuekang Li and co-supervision from Dr. Yulei Sui. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Networking from Universiti Malaysia Pahang, followed by a Master's degree in Information Security from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

My primary reason for pursuing a PhD is to specialize in Cybersecurity, aiming to become a Cybersecurity expert. I am deeply committed to addressing the complex security challenges that our digital world faces. By advancing my knowledge and research skills in this field, I hope to contribute to the development of secure systems that protect vital information and ensure the safety of digital environments

Projects:
Project 1: Investigation Model for Locating Data Remnants in Cloud Storage
Tasks: Conducted experiments using Forensic Toolkit (FTK) and other forensic tools to implement and test the detection of data remnants in Box cloud storage after deletion.
Project 2: Developing Malware Detection System
Tasks: Developed an antivirus application using Visual Studio.
Project 3: My Bodyguard Apps: Security Project for SOS Emergency Response
Tasks: Designed, tested, and troubleshooted security applications for emergency response.
