MED - EAT STATION

The task of this project is for students to design a refreshment corner with eatery and other related facilities for visitors to use and enjoy at the urban forest. The refreshment corner should reflect the identity of urban forest which are “tropical” and “vernacular architecture”.

The concept of tranquility is implemented in this design by using the key concept which is inspired by meditation such as meditation on how to be calm in certain situation. The main idea is to create a building where user can learn how to achieve tranquility by accepting the nature by using all the sense such as touch, sight, hear, smell, and taste. With this idea, the building characteristic have some of this two popular architecture style which is tropical and minimalist architecture.
