A fun note about the taste & color of the honey~ it's variants are depending on what hive the honey is collected from. At this time we have two hives Sunflower & Daisy & each queen sends her ladies out for all sorts of scrumptious pollens. In our area we are blessed to have orchards of all sorts- pear, apple, cherry, plums & I'm sure so much more but there is nothing in the stores that can stand up to the taste of fresh raw honey~ YUM!
