Instructions:
Participants will be selected on the basis of their research interests and motivation statement. If needed, we may request a letter of recommendation.
The participants will have to cover the cost of accommodation, food and travel. We will try our best to provide a convenient (and a standard) option of food. Student participants will be accommodated in the Institute student hostel, whose cost is reasonably low, approximately 200 INR per night (to be updated later). For faculty/researchers/scientists we will try to arrange accommodation in the institute guest house.
Participants from outside IITKGP: The accommodation and Lunch charges together are expected to be INR 5000 approximately.
Financial support: We might be able to cover some of the expenses related to your stay/participation (on a case-by-case basis).
School Participants can also register for the GIAN course by visiting the GIAN initiative website "https://gian.iitkgp.ac.in" and the registration page https://gian.iitkgp.ac.in/GREGN/index This involves additional INR 500/- one time portal registration fees.
More detailed information will be provided on the website close to the deadline of the application or will be communicated directly to the selected participants.
